C&L Aerospace Announces Purchase of SAAB 340B

In an early-September purchase agreement with Turbo Lease, LLC of Litchfield, CT, Australian based C&L Aerospace (C&L) announces the acquisition of a single SAAB 340B aircraft. This is the eleventh plane of its type attained by the company, the most recent to be utilized as a partout.

“This late serial number aircraft (340B-300) will make available the later model parts requiredtokeep similar models in service” said Chris Kilgour, CEO and owner of C&L Aviation Services (CLAS), subsidiary of C&L Aerospace.

CLAS, located at Bangor International Airport, is a certified FAA and EASA repair station offeringa wide range of capabilities for Saab 340, Dash 7 & 8, ATR42, Emb120, CRJ100 & 200 aircraft, including C Checks, remote field visits, propeller changes and regreasing, corrosion prevention control and an extensive list of airframe and component repairs.

“The availability of these parts will ensure we are able to continue providing lower costs for heavy checks and refurbishmentto our customers”, added Kilgour.
