Chris Kilgour

Chris Kilgour co–founded C&L Aerospace in 1994 and is today the sole owner and leader of this modern and truly global organization.

With a career in aviation that spans more than 20 years, Chris embraces the latest technology to implement leading edge aerospace business systems, but perhaps more importantly, a customer service based culture which is both technically superior and sensitive to customers’ time pressures.

Entrepreneurial by nature, Chris purchased his first business at 19 years of age. In this, an aerial photography business, he operated a small fleet of aircraft and managed a sales team of 15 who serviced the whole of Australia.

While Chris has owned many different businesses, it was this experience and the success of his freight forwarding business, which provided invaluable knowledge, core skills and links to the aviation industry that has underpinned the success of C&L Aerospace on a global level.

Under his leadership, C&L Aerospace has experienced solid growth which includes the acquisition of two aviation businesses which were successfully integrated into the C&L structure.

Chris surrounds himself with carefully selected, highly-skilled and like-minded people who proactively seek solutions and engage with customers to learn about and understand the core requirements of their businesses.

Today C&L Aerospace has a team of 30 dedicated personnel who deliver coordinated spare parts, repairs, overhaul, sales and technical services to the world’s most respected civil and military aircraft operators. The service is 24/7 covering all times zones thanks to offices in Australia, United States and Europe.

Chris attributes the success of C&L Aerospace to outstanding customer service and a reputation for delivering on promises made - a philosophy he summarizes as "Good Parts. Happy People. Safe Landings."
